Education & Training

The Princess Margaret Cancer Centre provides a rich environment for undergraduate, graduate and post-graduate trainees in medicine, nursing, radiation therapy and other healthcare specialities.  Training is delivered across the clinical disciplines of pathology, imaging, surgical oncology, radiation medicine, oncology nursing, medical oncology, psychosocial oncology and palliative care, as well as survivorship and patient education.

In 2015, a total of 130 clinical fellows, 496 nursing and health professional students and more than 112 residents were trained here.  The Centre also trained 450 research fellows and graduate students in our scientific laboratories last year.
