(Waiting to get my colour on at the Colour Your Hair to Conquer Cancer press launch with Ivy Cuervo, Senior Director of the Brand Communications group, who got her hair coloured rainbow at the event.)

On April 4th we launched The Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation’s exciting new fundraising program “Colour Your Hair to Conquer Cancer.”

This bold and engaging program celebrates diversity, creates shareable content and asks Canadians to be bold, choose their new hair colour, donate or raise funds for cancer research and challenge others.  I have set a bold goal and will colour my hair red like Lucille Ball in May.  I have been a blonde all my life.

We are calling the month of May Colour Your Hair to Conquer Cancer month, so “#Get Your Colour On” and support cancer research.  There are so many ways to colour your hair and so many new temporary products…this is something you can do that is fun but also supports a serious cause.

Cancer touches us all…1 in 2 Canadians will be told they have cancer in their lifetime…we want more survivors. Cures only come from discovery research. So, get your colour on…challenge others, choose a colour of your favourite sports team, your school colours, anything goes!  Join us and register at colour2cc.ca
